16hh Bay Gelding by Mill Law.
This is an honest advert because Milo deserves a good home.
His previous owner who had him for 14 years is happy to talk to Jo and I. He's a good doer, and with a bit of routine and a job to do he thrives.
Currently with Joanne Burns-Firth on Sales Livery, JJ Equestrian Services in North Lincolnshire. Here is her take:
Milo is low mileage but boy does he love to jump. Goes off any stride and doesn't look at fillers. I think he would be perfect for someone wanting to do the BS Amateur Shows.
Milo can be sluggish on the flat but soon perks up when poles and jumps are introduced.
We have hacked him out but he takes confidence from his rider and can spook at random stuff, he is better in company.
Milo needs a confident, competent rider and he will give you 100% but he isn't adverse to the odd spook or celebration.
We have taken Milo to a different arena training and although initially wary of the flapping flags he soon settled to his work and jumped nicely.
He is for sale because his owner has over horsed herself, she is straight out of riding school and he was her first horse. She was cantering him in the school when I cat joined in and he span away from it, she lost her balance and she fell hurting herself leading to a trip to A&E. Milo is by no means a bad horse but his owners wanted full disclosure as she didn't want someone similar in experience as herself thinking he would be suitable. In capable hands he is a poppet.
Milo was unsettled when he initially arrived with us but now is super chill. He does benefit from daily turnout and regular work.
Milo has good feet and is barefoot but I believe he has been previously shod. He is good to clip and load. He is easy to do and open to inspection. He can come with complete wardrobe and Bliss of London saddle fitted especially to him.
(The phone number will take you to Jo, as Milo is at her yard.)
