16.1 14yo Bay Trakhner Gelding

Santi is my 16.1, 14yo, Dark bay Trakhner gelding. The reason I’ve made the hard decision to part ways with Santi is purely because he no longer enjoys what I enjoy. Santi loves to hack, do some flatwork, go on fun rides, endurance and hunting. He finds pony club, showjumping, BS & competing etc stressful and he really dislikes that type of environment. Santi thrives of being the main horse, he is a one person type of horse. I feel it’s only fair that I give him the opportunity to be someone’s dream horse.

Santi will do a flatwork or jumping lesson absolutely fine. He will hack alone and in company. He’s 100% bombproof, you can hack him along a main road and he won’t bat an eyelid at a thing. He’ll load in a 7.5 tonne lorry or a trailer without a partition. He’s good to load, bath, catch, shoe, vet, physio etc. He’s up to date with the farrier, vet physio. He doesn’t buck, rear, spin etc. He’ll do ride & lead, he’ll go in front, behind or by the side. He’s never sick or sorry. Never silly or unsafe. He’s not nasty. He has excellent breeding.

He does prefer to live out, but if it’s bad weather he will come in. Due to santi’s past he does need a friend 24/7, he cannot be left without company in the stable or field. He’ll turn out with mares & geldings.

Santi does have his quirks, they are nothing dangerous whatsoever. Once you learn and understand him he’s not a problem. I’m looking for a quiet, kind and understanding home for Santi.
