Autumn 2023 Harry had an accident in the field & sliced his leg down to the bone which cost me 3k in vet bills & has been out of work ever since. His leg has now fully healed and my vets have advised this will NOT affect his ability to work, but has left quite a big scar on his leg. I have pictures from day one of his injury if anyone requests photographs.
Harry has also suffered with 2 episodes of spasmodic colic, but the last episode was in 2022 and has not had one since. Has a sarcoid on his neck too but have had this checked by a vet & they have confirmed all is OK and it is just visual.
Onto Harry himself he’s an absolute angel, the type of TB you can pick up and put down but is absolutely not suitable for a novice as he is still green in the school & can be fizzy when hacking out. Nothing nasty just excitable & needs a confident rider, he is also sold from the field and has been out of work since his injury. He will make an absolutely fantastic horse in the right hands.
He’s excellent for the farrier, vet, to load etc.
He really will make an amazing horse for somebody & he will make someone so happy, but it’s so unfair for me to cling onto him when I simply don’t have the time to bring him back into work & put into his retraining. He has done a lot of light schooling with me & has hacked alone and with others too.
