Willow is a very pretty, compact mare with lovely movement, a neat jump and kind attitude.
She would suit someone who wants to put their stamp and tweaks on a sensible and well started horse, who has low mileage and varied education, without needing to do the breaking/backing part.
he has already had a basic and varied start
She has been with me nearly 4 years. I brought her as a 'just backed' youngster from the breeder as she didn't make the height or frame the breeder required.
Over the past few years she has proved to be a lovely riding horse (for me and the 3 children). She is very regrettably for sale due to my increasing working hours and expanding family commitments.
Willow schools nicely in the ménage or in an open field. She is good in traffic, along bridle paths, main roads, farm tracks etc. She hacks alone or in company. I also take the kids out hacking on her on the lead rein and she has always kept us all safe. She goes through water and will pop coloured and natural fences (she has a lovely rhythm but will sometimes jump big). She is easy to do, for farrier/brushing/bathing/rug changes etc, currently unshood but has worn fronts in the past when our hacking routes were very flinty.
Never clipped her so I don't know what she is like. Never had back shoes on - again don't know what she is like. She was shown in hand lots as a youngster and did very well. She loads/travels in a box or trailer. Lives in or out. Turns out in a heard or individually.
She has no vices, ailments, lameness etc. She is a nice, honest little mare.
She is regrettably for sale due to personal circumstances and is priced below her true worth. I have tried to include as much information as possible - I am not in the market of buying and selling horses and would like the best home for her as she has been a great friend to our family.
Lots more pics via WhatsApp or email.
She is passported and microchipped and open to viewings and vet. She will need her vaccinations re-starting.
Happy to have a quick sit on her or pop the kids on but please bear in mind that she is unfit and not in regular work and has most recently been used for a "once a week hack". She will need sensibly bringing back into work by someone knowledgeable. I do not think she is suitable for a novice as she is still fairly young and has had an intermittent education and little competition experience. She would suit a confident teen moving onto horses or a smaller adult - I am 5'6 and 9.5 stone. Our facilities are basic but I am happy for viewers to try her.
No loans or time wasters please.
