We have had Frankie just over a year having bought her from the field. Frankie had been out of work for a few years and very green. My 14 year old daughter has worked really hard with her but we don’t think she is suited to showjumping which is where my daughter’s interests lie.
Frankie is so affectionate on the ground, if my daughter walks past her stable she will hook her head round her shoulder for a cuddle! Her ground manners are beautiful and she loves being groomed. She is excellent to shoe, clip and the vet, will mostly load on to a trailer but doesn’t like a central partition - we haven’t tried a lorry.
Easy to do with other horses not mareish and somewhere near the bottom of the pecking order. She will only go to a home with other horses for company.
It’s been a really difficult decision to sell her because she really is the loveliest horse.

In our experience if you kick or whip her forwards she will throw her toys out of the pram and has reared. But not if you give her a moment.

She doesn’t put her head down and try to get you off, in fact my daughter has never fallen off her. We don’t know why she does it. It happens without jumps as well she starts swishing her tail and then bucks. She lunges beautifully and we have done some long reining with her too which has helped reduce napping.
We would like her to go to an experienced and patient loving home...Read full description
