Sadly putting our Piebald Cob up for sale. Tommy is 11 years old and 14hh. He was bought as a mother/daughter share for myself and my 12 yr old daughter. Whilst he has been great fun for myself as a happy hacker, my daughter has struggled with him in the schools he puts in the occasional buck. We believe he is only taking advantage of her as he has never once bucked with me. As a result my daughter sometimes loses confidence to ride him and we feel he would be more suited to a confident and experienced teenager or a lightweight adult that can ride him through his occasional bucks.
He has had his back, saddle and teeth checked to rule out any issues in this areas. Tommy is great to hack out and this is what he seems to enjoy the most, we regularly take him for trips out in the trailer and he is as equally as well behaved. He is excellent with all types of traffic, but isn't as confident hacking out alone, but again we feel with right rider who would persevere and have confidence this would change.
Tommy is good for the farrier, loads wetland is good to clip except for his legs where he will fidget. He is up to date with vaccinations, saddle and back checks. Tommy needs a knowledgeable home and a more experienced rider than my daughter and we believe his small quirks would be easily rectified with perseverance . I have tried to include as much information as i can but please don't hesitate to contact me and i will happily answer any questions you may have.
