Equestrian Advice & Guides All Disciplines
STAGBI registered 14 year old standardbred gelding. Absolute gent of a horse and a firm yard favourite.
Has attended hunts, huntertrials, arena hire, cross country, fun rides and been down the beach. He recently took a nervous rider on her first hunt and was great!
He's fantastic in the school, his canter does require some work but with being a pacer this is understandable. He loves to jump and never refuses, had only jumped him a handful of times before his first hunter trials and he cleared everything bagging himself a second in the individuals class (90cm.) He's a Saint to ride for anyone, iv had total novices on his back and he took the very best care of them. He hacks out in the heaviest of traffic and nothing fazes him, he's seen everything from push bikes to forage harvesters and couldn't care less. He's great to hack alone or in company and is never spooky or silly. Never bucked, bolted or reared.
He's perfect to travel, loads first time. Foot perfect for the farrier (falls asleep) He's great to clip, he will stand to be fussed over, plaited, bathed brushed, any type of fuss this boy loves. He's happy to live in or out but is stabled at night with me. Comes to call, and perfect to handle in everyday, Great in a mixed herd and doesn't bother anyone. He's up to date with physio, teeth, vaccinations and worming.
He does have fired legs and a scar on his neck however both have been looked at by my vet and she's confident that they don't affect him.
South Wales based.
