I have owned Stan for 3 years and in this time I have taken him from intro level to working Medium at home and competing comfortably at Elementary level. He is a forward going ride (but not hot) with 3 lovely paces and a good brain. He always aims to please with his work, is a saint to handle and a joy to have around the yard. I can hack him alone or in company (we don't have much road hacking), is good for farrier, vet, clipping etc..
In the time I have had Stan we have worked up through the levels, he has always qualified for Petplan rounds and has also represented the South West Senior teams at Home International at novice level. He has also been a guinea pig ride at many Judge training seminars, with lots of compliments. I have kept Stan low on points purposely as to not put him out of anything for his future rider. Stan would suit a keen BD Youth rider who may want to try their hand at FEI in the future, equally he would also suit a small lady rider looking to compete through the levels.
Due to his breeding from the well known Stanley Grange line he would equally make a cracking 148cm show pony, but with his brain and movement it would be a shame to not pursue the Dressage
Stan is for sale through no fault of his own, but due to my personal and family circumstances I feel I can no longer give him what he needs and don't want to see this clever boy wasted.
He can be viewed and tried just outside of Yeovil, Somerset
Tack and rugs can be negotiated separately if needs be
