14.1hh 13 years old, coloured, Welsh x mare

Heartbreaking sale of a much loved mare. Millie is a 14.1hh coloured welsh x, 13 year old mare that we have owned for 11 years. She has been ridden by myself and both my daughters. She is the sweetest, most loving, trainable mare I’ve ever known. Very soft mouthed and goes straight off the leg. Loves to jump. Been around young children from a young age. Has been shown as a hunter pony both in hand and under saddle. Done pony club and dressage. Perfect mother/daughter share. Can step up a gear when needed, excellent fun ride. Impeccable manners, no vices and very gentle. Amazing extended trot and lovely steady canter. Hacks alone or in company. Loads and travels like a dream. Easy/good to clip, vet, bath & for farrier. Stands all day to be groomed. Loves a routine and settles very easily into one. Takes everything in her stride. Good doer but can live in or out, if in regular work through the summer and can be turned out with mares or geldings. For sale through absolutely no fault of her own. Low mileage for her age due to huge changes in personal circumstances over the years, happy to discuss. Needs a job as way too good a mare to be a field ornament. Very reluctant sale. Confident, experienced 5 star home only as needs confident rider. To be sold from the field as needs to be brought back into work and no rider, will only be sold to the best home who can bring out her potential.
