She has the most beautiful floaty snaffle mouth dressage paces and always scores highly in competitions with self carriage to die for.
Grace hacks out alone or in company. She is forwards but sane and sensible in open spaces.
She will happily trot her rider around a course of small show jumps and loves to trot round a cross country course. Due to the start of hock arthritis, cross poles are her jumping limit.
She has done all pony club activities including mini camp.
Will live on her own but likes a companion, doesn’t get separation anxiety if left by her companion.
Grace will stop at jumps if they are higher than cross poles, this is due to the starts of hock arthritis.
She will get fast and strong in the arena if cantered into jumps, this enthusiasm comes from her British show jumping past, the pony’s mind is willing but the rider and owner need to keep it slow and low now when jumping - she will however sensibly canter hacking and in the dressage arena.
She had laminitis 2 years ago so needs restricted grazing but has good feet and is recovered well. She has age related Cushings and needs ½ a daily Prascend tablet at £0.50p per day.
Grace doesn’t like traffic particularly heavy farm machinery.
She prefers to live out well rugged as gets a dust related cough in the stable, she also needs her hay sprayed or soaked for this reason.
Price reflects age, management requirements and medical history, an absolute steel for the right little jockey and home!
