13.2 7yo Cob Gelding

Handsome Apache is a 13.2, 7 year old cob gelding, who will make the most perfect pony club pony. Apache is an uncomplicated ride, he is very supple and has a lovely soft mouth. He carries himself in a lovely frame, he knows his basic lateral movements and flying changes. He loves his work very much and loves to have a job. He is not a complete novice ride as he is a forward ride. He is currently regularly ridden by a novice 12 year old and has been showjumping and XC with her. Apache loves his jumping, he would happily do all the turns in a course and is bold and careful. He’s very honest and forgiving even if you leave him on a bad stride. He hasn’t yet taken part in pony club activities, but would make a fantastic pony to do it on as he is a brilliant all rounder. He is great to hack alone and in company, he will go first or last. Brilliant in heavy traffic, he has seen all types of farm machinery and lorries. Good with livestock and great in open spaces. He is an absolute dream on the ground, he is one of the most affectionate ponies I ever met, he will stand all day to be groomed and made a fuss of, he loves kisses. He would happily suit either a small adult/teenager or a child, he adapts very well for his rider. I’m 5,6 and he takes up leg well. Good to catch, clip, load and for the farrier. He is currently barefoot and has lovely feet. Good doer, happy living in or out, cheap to keep. Up to date with teeth and vaccinations.
