Bella’s has lived with us for a few years but is just not a lead rein/ first ridden pony so isn’t suitable for my children.
She’s forward going but responsive. she has three well balanced paces on the lunge, she long reins well she’ll hack alone or in company, she is green due to her age and lack of rider. On the lead she is just too quick and seems to not enjoy having someone walk next to her - she has been known to spook on the lead which puts my small children off but they have ridden her on the lunge and she’s been perfect for them.
On the ground she can be a little nervy, which again makes her unsuitable for small children. She is Perfect for the farrier, great to travel, lives in or out but likes to come In, with mares and geldings, she lives on a farm so has seen most machinery, it can sometimes take me a few minutes to catch her but overall she’s good to catch.
She is wasted with us, she loves to please and she likes having a job! She’d be most suited to a small adult/ teenager wanting a pony to bring on and show or a lovely little project.
