Lenny has been with us now for 5 years and in this time he has took my daughter from lead rein too teaching to canter, jump and gallop off the lead rien.We first brought lenny as a lead rein pony; as my daughter has progressed so has he.
He has won too many championship to mention at local level as well as county level.
As a lead rein pony he his fantastic and his glued by the leaders side allowing the smallest of jockeys to bobble about on him.
As a first ridden pony he needs a more pushy child to be firm with him. When a slightly less confident jockey has ridden him off the lead at "shows" he been unsure. So needs a jockey who's going to tell him his job.
He has also completed in open classes with a light weight teen jockey who has fully enjoyed the ride he gave her; winning all her classes with him.
He definitely wouldn't look out of place in 122cm SHP qualifiers.
He's competed in open classes with my daughter also and behaved beautifully in a class of 16hh plus hunter types. He wasn't fazed by any of them, keeping his jockey safe even when galloping in the go around.
My daughter and current loaners daughters handle him, tack him up, load him etc.
He can be a bit head shy but doesn't do anything nasty and once you get to know him hes fine.
He's fantastic with traffic and hacks out alone or in company. Never silly in open spaces or large groups.
He has a beautiful jump on him and has competed in WH classes on and off the lead.
This pony has been really special to us over the past 5 years so a 5 * home only!
He his available for viewing now but won't be sold until after STARS.
