Hector was likely backed this summer and then turned away to mature. (I have videos available) . He is quite immature mentally and physically but is starting to fill out a bit. Hector has been with me for just over 3 years and was bought solely as a companion to my other horse. I now have 3 horses a 2 year old and a baby due in February so really do not have the time for him that he needs and deserves. He’s of the age where he will be needing a job, I also do not have rider for him. I always knew I was likely to sell him on at this stage, hopefully to a family who will love him and get the most out of him. He’s a typical welsh, cheeky chappy and will be sharp, quick, and clever. He’s got good showing bloodlines, all his family can be found on the Banbury stud website if interested. He’s not done anything really with me, has been handled same as my other horses, comes in at night in the winter and has somes days inside too. He’s quite happy as long as he has his friends around. He’s not bothered by much and has constant farm traffic past his stable and field which he’s never batted an eyelid at. He can be grumpy in his stable, territorially mainly over his food as he’s used to being bottom of the pecking order. I just ignore his faces and he just doesn’t really do anything more. Up to date with worming and dentist and used to the farrier (always barefoot).
Cumbria based.
