PiebaldGelding15 handsBreed Cob
Danny is a super smart sensible 15h, 6 year old, piebald cob gelding with a superb temperament. He is a lovely solid stamp with a nice amount of bone and a nice deep girth, making him a great size for both adults and children to ride. He is beautifully marked with a large amount of black and a super black tail. He definitely catches the eye where ever he goes with his striking looks and his honest kind eye. He has excellent conformation and straight movement. He is a true alrounder who puts 100% into everything asked of him and always aims to please. He is the type very hard to find.
Danny works nicely in the school, he has 3 correct balanced paces and works in a lovely soft outline. He is a comfortable ride with a nice stride. He is a lovely medium speed who is nicely off the aids but not at all sharp. He works very well between hand and leg and gives a nice feel in the contact. He is snaffle mouthed with a lovely soft mouth. He has been ridden by a range of different riders from competent novices to more experienced riders. He will do more for an experienced rider and less for a lesser rider. He is safe sensible ride who is very willing and trainable. He does a nice preliminary dressage test and has the potential to progress through the levels as he is very trainable and has good natural paces and works correctly from behind.
Danny loves to jump and makes a good shape over a fence. He is a very honest and genuine type and has never refused or ran out. He has jumped around 85 cm courses with ease filling his rider with confidence. He happily jumps over coloured fillers without looking at them. He looks after his rider when jumping and will happily trot over a small cross pole. He jumps in a lovely rhythm and doesn't rush into his jumps or get strong or silly. He would be the ideal type to take to riding club activities and clinics as he loves his work and is uncomplicated and sensible.
Danny is amazing at cross country; he gives you a brilliant feel and remains very safe, easy and sensible. He jumps everything asked of him including hedges, ditches, walls, timbers, coffins, water complexes etc. He gives his rider so much fun and confidence. He has been cross country schooling with a 13 year old in just a snaffle jumping 1 metre fences and giving her the best day out. He would make a super low level fun eventer as he is great at all 3 phases and so much fun and just loves to have a go. He is also so much fun at jump cross, he loves the water complexes and the mixture of jumps.
Danny has hunted on a few occasions and has also been on hound exercise this season with the Fitzwilliam. He is a very mannerly boy and stands well at the meet, he then goes along in the field very well loving every minute. He loves jumping the hunt jumps and ditches. He would make someone a wonderful hunter and he is very sure footed.
Danny happily hacks out alone and in company. He is excellent in traffic, he regularly crossing a busy 'a' road roundabout and will patiently wait until it is clear to cross and isn't fazed by lorries passing him etc. He is great in open spaces and regularity hacks out in a group of horses and will canter in any order without getting strong or fizzy. He has been on long 10 mile hacks and pleasure rides where he has crossed rivers, jumped logs, crossed bridges etc all in a calm manner. I have ridden him bareback to the river and he has swam which he absolutely loved, he will give any horse a lead into the water. He really is so chilled out and you can really relax on him and enjoy yourself. He would be a great pleasure horse/ happy hacker to have hours on fun with.
Danny has an amazing temperament. He is very quiet to handle with manners to burn. He is a very easy boy to have around, he is excellent in all ways to handle, and is regularity handled safely by children. He loves people and will stand for hours to be brushed and pampered. He leads like a dog and isn't fazed by anything. He happily lives in or out and mixes very well with mares and geldings. He is a super boy to have around.
Danny must go to a 10* home where he will be loved and cherished. He would make an excellent mother/daughter share horse. He would also make a cracking riding club alrounder as he is good at all disciplines. He would also be well suited to hunting and hacking. He really has so much to offer someone and will be your best friend.
