He is a beautiful horse and catches the eye of everyone with his simple white snip on his muzzle and his kind eyes.
Ted has completed up to BE90 with me, we’ve competed in dressage, XC camps where he has popped intermediate fences, he hacks and will canter and come back to you in an open field, he has competed in the hunter classes at Flint and Denbigh Horse Show and Scorton Countryside Festival and is not fazed by tannoys, trailers, tents or other horses and riders! We’ve been to the beach and he’s just been a fantastic all round horse to own.
Having a young family is - let’s say demanding and he’s not getting the work he used to. He would quite happily stay in a field BUT he loves being in work. So this is not an easy sale!
October 2024 Ted went out to compete after not having any consistent riding (and no ménage) and he won his dressage prelim class and won the best turned out (I told you he catches peoples eye)!
He’s an honest horse that is a pleasure to own (I’ve owned him since a 7 year old and he’s moved with me as my family has relocated multiple times - he’s always been a firm favourite on each yard too.
Teds only “quirk” is that he travels in the left side of the trailer. Always did with his previous owner and always has with me and I’ve never had any problems!
At the moment Ted isn’t fit, however he wouldn’t take much to muscle up and be ready to go o it competing.
He’s currently clipped out and shod so is ready to go. I clipped him out with no headcollar on and he stood there like a dream!
