Shakira is a beautiful mare who turns heads everywhere she goes. She is on springs when she jumps.

She is very agile off the ground and is naturally careful. Masses of scope and ability and is good against the clock.

Shakira has been slowly produced over the last few years due to ongoing work commitments so has very low mileage and is still in newcomers. She has previously had her double clears in newcomers and fox but has started to work towards her Newcomers DC’s and is ready to step back into Members and Fox. She has competed at the highland show 3 times.

Shakira rides absolutely incredible on the flat with 3 established paces , established lateral work and the most expressive clean changes. She has a lovely personality and aims to please and attracts attention wherever she goes.

Shakira has all the attributes to make a very competitive horse. She is ready to step up to the next level and has the scope and ability to continue up through the levels. She is also super careful and hates touching fences.

She is a dream to own, polite in the stable and a true character.

She has had sarcoids which were treated with Liverpool cream. We have had her since 2019 and she has had no issues with them. She is fully vaccinated. Teeth just been done. She is good to shoe, clip and loads and travels like a dream.

She gave birth to a beautiful colt in 2022 at home without assistance and has been an amazing mum.

Shakira is also great with novice riders on her back and never puts a hoof wrong. She is very sensitive and seems to know her riders abilities.

This is a horse of a lifetime so we are seeking a competitive and knowledgeable home for her to fulfil her potential as she is only for sale due to lack of time and ever increasing work commitments.

She is available to view and try if you can travel to the yard. Home is more important.
