"Ruby" Bay Mare All Rounder

Very sad sale of a super 17.3 2015 bay mare by the fantastic Christian. This mare is an absolute gem who is capable of turning her hoof to anything.

Trained and competed up to elementary BD. Competed at numerous area festivals and regionals with some good placings.

Very genuine to a fence both SJ and XC, competed BS before we bought her but has only schooled/clinics and unaffiliated shows in our ownership.

Fantastic with hounds, stands politely at the meet. Happy with the field or nannying further back. Does gates, stands to be got on and off etc. Has also been used to trail lay.

Hacks alone and in company, solid in the heaviest traffic. Lives on a working farm so good with big machinery. Happy to bimble along on the buckle or to be ridden to a contact. Not silly in open spaces. Has done lots of pleasure rides and has been to the beach a few times and was a very good girl. Happy riding and leading.

Good to catch, shoe, and with the dentist, vet etc, loads and travels well in a lorry and trailer and stands well when others are taken away. Good to clip (sometimes needs a twitch for her jaw) Very easy horse to have on the yard and handle. No vices. She does prefer to be turned out with others, has been known to hop electric fencing to find friends when turned out alone for long periods of time, fine to be left alone in the stable.
