Dream - stunning 16.2hh Clydesdale cross rising 5 year old mare. Maxi cob with scope.
Dream is our stunning Clydesdale cross mare. She is rising 5 and already standing at approx 16.2 with plenty of filling out to do.
She was broken to ride last summer and turned away for the winter but has just been brought back into regular ridden work. She hacks out both alone and in company. She is good in all kinds of traffic. She will look at odd things now and again but generally is good to ride. She’s fun and forward going. Currently being hacked out by a teenager who loves her. she’s a big softie and a big baby with lots of growing and maturing to do.
In the stable I’ve found her to be a very sweet horse. She’s a big gentle giant and she benefits from a quiet handler who is patient and takes their time with her. I can do anything with her with the persuasion of a treat and a fuss but if you go charging over she can be more timid.
In the school will walk, trot and canter with smooth transitions and will pop a cross pole. She’s still very green but is learning to go into a nice outline. She is sensitive to your leg and requires a confident, quiet rider who is experienced with riding young / green horses.
She’s passported with Leisure Ireland with no recorded breeding. She is shod in front and wormed recently. She loads and travels fine and gets along with all my other horses. She will live in or out or half and half. I have an arena and local hacking for anyone wanting to try her and am open to near offers.
