Casper has had a light winter in work (basic schooling and groundwork), but has previously done jumping, cross-country, simple dressage (67% in his first test), in-hand showing, and hacking both alone and with company.
He’s sweet, sensitive, and not nasty – but when unfit he tends to not know what to do with his head - especially in trot - but this improves with consistency and routine. He’s a sensitive soul, especially when he doesn’t understand what’s expected of him - and he’ll need time to settle and build trust with you, but he will shower you with cuddles and love once you’ve got that bond.
Easy to handle, responsive to aids, especially voice, forward and fun– great to catch, load, travel, and has good manners with the farrier, dentist, and physio.
He's barefoot, up-to-date with everything, and happiest living out 24/7 with friends nearby, though he can also be stabled.
Please note, Casper has cataracts in both eyes, but they don't appear to affect him much, other than in very sunny conditions.
He’s a smart, willing pony with the potential to excel in any discipline.
