Approx 14.3-15hh 6 y/o bay gelding.
Captain is very sadly looking for him new home.
Since owning Captain from November 22 he has been the most perfect boy, I bought him to compete in showing and dressage which sadly I no longer wish to do so I believe it’s time for him to find a home where he will reach his potential and be loved and enjoyed, I’d love him to find a job maybe a competition home or just to go out on fun rides, he had popped a jump a couple of times when I bought him which I have pictures of however he hasn’t jumped in over 2 years as I don’t jump.
He’s been to the beach and on open fields proving sane and sensible.
Competed in a couple of unaffiliated Dressage competitions placing each time.
Competed in equitation classes which he won both.
Hacked around many different areas both alone and in company.
He’s good to clip, to shoe, good for the dentist and vet and an angel to handle on the ground with the most impeccable stable manners.
He travels very well. When he hasn’t been out for a while it takes a little persuasion to load, but with practice we got to the point he was one within a couple of minutes.
He does has a small bruise on his right eye, which he had when I bought him and hasn’t changed or affected him, and was cleared by the vet to not have any lasting damage or affect on his vision, this can be discussed further if you wish so.
Bought on a five stage vetting which he passed and has been with me ever since. He’s a lovely talented horse who needs and quite understanding rider as he is a sensitive boy, to help him reach his potential.
This is an extremely sad sale so no time wasters this horse is worth his weight in gold.
