We've owned Arnie nearly 2 years but with a young family and other commitments I just don't have the time.
Arnie has a fantastic temperament and great ground manners. He is good with the farrier (he's barefoot) but does require sedation for his teeth.
Ridden, he is not a novice ride, he is forward and fun to ride but can occasionally get a little strong therefore I feel he would best suit a confident teen or a lightweight adult. He isn't nasty in anyway and is ridden by my 15 year old daughter.
We have mostly done hacking, schooling and local shows. He is still a little green jumping.
He loves hacking and is good as gold, he has never taken off in open spaces. We mostly hack out with others from our yard but he has hacked out alone.
He travels well in both a lorry and trailer and stands at the box fine.
He's upto date with back checks, saddle checks, teeth and vaccinations, farrier and worm counts.
He comes with his new professionally fitted saddle, anatomical bridle and rugs.
He stays out during the summer months and during the winter he's turned out all day and comes in overnight. He's currently turned out in a large gelding herd.
Instructors and vettings welcome.
Only the best of homes for our special boy, this really is a heartbreaking sale but I feel it's the right decision for my family. He will not be sold unseen.
We are stabled near Basildon, Essex. Any questions, please feel free to ask
