Alfie
Alfie is a 13.2hh, 14 year old registered Welsh Section B, a beautiful stamp of the breed with a temperament you could only dream of. He has been there and done it all. Alfie schools beautifully on the flat with three lovely balanced paces, he pops jumps for fun, hacks alone or in company both at the front of the rear. We have had Alfie at shows, to the beach, in super busy arenas and very quiet arenas and he is the same every time. He has taken part in camps and all pony club activities including cross county and dressage. Alfie never bucks, rears or bolts and looks after his rider even if they are not 100% sure. Alfie is for sale as a second pony, while he is everything described above and more - he knows his job when he is out and about and can be a little more forwards than he is at home; however he is never unsafe and typical of his breed. Originally purchased for my daughter, Alfie has taken her through the ropes over the last 8 years we have owned him. Due to my daughter outgrowing him, he has been on full loan at our current yard for the last 18 months to a petite 9yo girl who has now sadly outgrown him too.
He is never sick or sorry, he has impeccable manners on the ground and under saddle. Alfie also loads and travels like a dream in both trailers and lorries.
He is currently stabled over night, and out through summer months but previously he has lived out 24/7 with rugs. He mixes well in gelding herds or mixed herds and is not a dominant pony. Alfie is barefoot, up to date with all vaccines, teeth and farrier.
Alfie is offered for sale with full wardrobe including tack and rugs.
Please do not ask if he is available for loan/ exchange/ loan with view to buy. This is a very difficult sale and we are seeking the best home that will continue to enjoy him to his full potential.
