Ailsa
Rising 5-year-old Thoroughbred, approximately 16hh
Ailsa joined us after a short break from racing and has transitioned beautifully into her new career as a riding horse. She is a kind and affectionate mare who enjoys attention and loves being pampered.
With her being on a break she lived out 24/7 in a herd and had no issues, with us she has been out during the day and in at night and has had no issues with this, she’s also okay with both mares and geldings.
While Ailsa is still green under saddle, as expected for her age, she is a quick learner with a very trainable nature. She has made excellent progress in her riding education and is eligible for ROR.
Although we have not been able to introduce her to jumping due to lack of facilities, we are confident she would quickly pick up this skill with further training.
Ailsa has the potential to make someone a lovely partner, but due to her age and experience, she is not suitable for a novice rider.
