Very reluctant and sad sale of my boy William. William didn't have the greatest start and I don't know a lot about his background. He has been with me for about three years and has been out of work for a lot of this time. I had originally put William up for a long-term/permanent loan however this didn't work out through no fault of his own. Although William has been backed, as I have said he has been out of work for a long time and I think he would benefit from a re-break. This being said, he is a fast learner and there is a willingness to work (once he has stopped being stubborn and knows who is boss!). I just simply do not have the time having recently had a baby. However, I have absolutely no doubt that with a patient and kind person who has the experience to bring William on he will be a brilliant pony and absolutely stunning.
William really is a very sweet and loving boy. His ground manners are good although he does need a firm hand otherwise he can be bolshy if he thinks he will get away with it. He has lovely movements and really just needs someone who has the time and patience to bring him on.
He is currently living out and this is what he prefers, although he will live in.
William is good with the farrier and dentist and is easy to catch. He does not like to load however once loaded he travels fairly well.
This is a very honest ad, I don't want anyone to be under any illusions about the amount of work William will need before being ridden. He really is a sweet boy though and very affectionate. He's had a tough few months with lots of changes and I really just want him settled in a 5* home where he can be worked and reach his full potential. He will come with some tack and rugs.
