Ride in peace with Ultrathon Insect Repellent

To keep you protected from mosquitoes, ticks and more this summer, Ultrathon Insect Repellent is available as a spray, a lotion and now as a new pump spray. Ultrathon Insect Repellent is endorsed by outdoors survival expert and long-standing fan Ray Mears. It can provide up to 12 hours protection from biting insects, yet it doesn’t have a high content of DEET, the active ingredient.  Additionally, it is splash and sweat resistant so the need for reapplication throughout the day is reduced.

The Ultrathon range is available in a 60ml lotion offering extended protection of up to 12 hours, a convenient 125ml spray offering 8 hours protection and a 100ml pump spray providing up to 12 hours protection.  The lotion and aerosol spray have an RSP of £8.29 and the pump spray has an RSP of £8.49. www.ultrathon.co.uk

Horsemart Tested - I've always found it so amusing how much money we spend on our equine friends to keep them fly-free, yet we often forget ourselves. Thank you to horsemart for letting me try this product out on the recent glorious sunny days we've had and also those muggy days when those dreaded midges are on the war path. Every rider knows that feeling when you're riding and you look up to see a thousand ride flies enjoying your ride with you. This product certainly eliminated this problem. The product itself is non sticky and very easy to apply with a handy pump spray. Or if you prefer a lotion there is that option too, which is really handy. Another great factor is the sweat resistance, as i found this particulary helpful whilst schooling when you really get hot, this product still did not let me down. I  would 100 % definitely would recommend this product to any horse rider or anyone wanting a fast effective insect repellent that actually works.
