We’ve added Nettle Extract to our shampoo base in order to combat dry skin and dandruff problems. This formulation conditions your horse’s coat back to health with every wash. Shampoo base Plantacare/ Coco-glucoside is the shampoo base that we use throught our range. Coco Glucoside is a mild, non ionic surfactant made up of C8-C16 fatty alcohol glucoside made from renewable raw materials such as coconut and fruit sugars, it is an excellent choice if you are looking for something with no sulfates, parabens or diethanolamides and is completely biodegradable. Unlike most watery equine shampoo's our thick concentrated 100% Natural Shampoo only contains a unique combination of plant oils and extracts to soften and condition coat and skin. Natural plant oils promote an amazing healthy coat shine and appearance. Each bottle contains enough shampoo for approximately 20 washes. Having a sensitive Thoroughbred I am always interested in trying out shampoos and skin products which can help with this dry flaky skin. So I was really looking forward to trying this as I had seen it was formulated for horses with dandruff! I was really impressed with how concentrated the shampoo was which meant I only needed a small amount to bath him with and the bottle will last longer a whole 20 washes in one bottle! This makes it perfect for taking away with you and as well as being completely biodegradable! He also smelt amazing afterwards so a fantastic shampoo for horses with sensitive skin or dandruff. I will definitely be using it again.
