An exciting opportunity for somebody who wants to excel on the circuit whilst also turn heads. Chip has fantastic movements and has strong powerful paces which eat up the ground.
Chip can only be described as a perfect gentleman both on and off the ground. He has respect for you and never barges, bits or kicks. His wonderful, kind, temperament means that he is a firm favourite on the yard, people cannot help but love this special boy. Chip is more than happy to stand and be pampered for as long as you like. He loves people and loves to watch what is going on around him.
He is super with the vet, farrier, dentist etc.
Chip is wonderful to hack and goes in front, behind and on his own. We have hacked on quiet country lanes where cars have had to squeeze past as well as the A6 where traffic of all kinds sped by. When out for a gallop, he will stop when asked and you can either take him away from others or others away from him.
As for his schooling, he is still a bit green however this is down to me not having the time or expertise which he needs. He is coming along quickly and beautifully as I have had a few weeks off to get him back up to scratch. He is incredibly intelligent and would pick up advanced dressage quickly. Before I bought him, Chip had been professionally backed and brought on as well as taken to competitions, unfortunately I do not know the level these were at.
Chip loves to jump! At current we are jumping 95cm with the scope to go much higher. Ideally I would want him to go to a home which would progress his jumping career as he has such huge potential in that area.
He has fantastic bloodlines.
His Dam, Plantinum Angel was by Pouchka and her mother Charlies Angel was a mare competed by John Whitaker where they jumped Puissance at 7ft3.
His Sire, Miley competed low level showjumping and proved to be safe and trustworthy out hunting. He has also proved to be a successful sire of eventers, show horses and Grand Prix dressage horse.
