Very honest advert!!! Oscar will be your best friend. He is very trusting and loves attention. I bought Oscar as a 3 year old from a field unhandled because the horse I had owned for 10 years died very suddenly. I worked with Oscar through the winter and backed him as he was turning 4. Last year he competed in local shows, small one day events and dressage tests and always came home with a red rosette. He hacks alone and in company and schools very well. He has also been to horse camp and was awarded the best behaved horse of the weekend. I later found out that Oscar sustained an injury as a yearling which as now restricted what I will do with him. He is and has always been sound and has had the summer off to mature and has also been to a watertreadmill to build him up after his rest. He is a beautiful big strong horse and I now want to find him a quieter life than I can offer him. He stands looking at me at the field gate wanting some fuss and I work full time so havent got the time to look after two properly. The vet has given him the all clear and I am just being very honest for my own conscience because no one else has ever noticed his injury at all!! But I want to find hom the right home. He is 5 years old so will need a competent rider but is safe and sane and doesnt need consistent work. After having 6 months off I scrambled on off a park bench and hacked out on our own. Any questions please let me know. He will only be sold to the perfect home. Upto to date with farrier, dentist, vaccinations, wormers and back lady. Price negotiable to the right home.
