Reduced! Home much more important than price! I am making the extremely hard decision to sell my beloved Phoenix.
He's two and a half, not recently measured but around 13.3 I think. Should make 14.2.
I've had him wild from the new forest and now is the most loving, affectionate, inquisitive little chap. Cannot believe he was wild! He's like a dog, never leaves my side!
I backed him when he was two - only lightly - and gradually increased to the point where he was riding away and hacking in company. Working mainly in walk and short bursts of trot when asked. Seen all traffic, including buses and tractors with rattling trailers.
I have put many hours of ground work and ridden work into him. He is a fantastic pony and puts his all into his work. I have poured my heart and soul into him; he's my treasure and I never planned on selling him.
Nothing phases him at all; he is very steady going and I have yet to find anything that spooks him! He is not forward going, very steady, so despite him being young, I think he'd make a nice children's pony, as he's not speedy and has great brakes!
Phoenix is now turned away to mature - I didn't want to do too much in him and hurt him. Before I turned him away he's been ridden both bareback and tacked up.
He's never been bitted, and ideally I'd prefer him to go to a bitless home, but I would consider him going to a bitted home providing the rest of his home is right. He'd accept a bit but I don't feel like he actually needs one.
Please only serious inquiries about my beloved boy, as this sale will break my heart anyway. He's my baby. 5 million star home only for my boy.
I'd also like to add, that I would like a first refusal on Phoenix if his new owner would like to sell him, and I would like to put this in his sale contract. Cannot bare the thought of him being passed around.
Home definitely more important than price, and would maybe consider loan/Lwvtb
