Thieves steal from disabled riders groupThursday 02 February 2012
A charity which focuses on helping people with disabilities to enjoy horse riding has been targeted by thieves. The Riding for the Disabled Association had £1200 worth of saddles stolen from stables on Ringwood Road, Ferndown, on Tuesday night. Police have issued an appeal to horse owners urging them to check the safety of their equipment to help prevent further incidents. Police said the theft of the specially-adapted saddles will have a "detrimental impact" on the charity's programme.
