The Queen and Prince Philip are set to attend the New Forest Show later this month.
The New Forest Agricultural Show Society has announced that Her Majesty the Queen, accompanied by His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh will be visiting the New Forest and Hampshire County Show on Wednesday 25 July 2012.
The Queen and Prince Philip’s visit to the New Forest Show will be the culmination of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee tour.
Her Majesty will have the opportunity to meet many of the show’s volunteers, without whom the show would not happen.
The Lord-Lieutenant, Dame Mary Fagan DCVO said: “I am thrilled that Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh will join us at the New Forest Show. The Diamond Jubilee is a very special event and I know everyone at the Show will give The Queen a tremendous welcome.”
The show will be held at New Park, Brockenhurst on Tuesday 24, Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 July.
20% discounted tickets are available now online at the New Forest Show website or via the ticket hotline on 01590 622409 until July 11 2012.
