Joshua and Hattie are the stars of the EquestrianClearance.com adverts and the team at the Sowerby Bridge-based business launched a nationwide search for the safe return of the dapple grey worth £1,500.

But now, with Hattie still nowhere to be seen, Joshua is looking for a new pony to feature in the adverts with him.

Says Lorraine Meadowcroft who runs EquestrianClearance.com: “We want to continue the theme of following Joshua as he grows up and felt with Hattie no longer around to be in the adverts we would launch the search for a real pony to take Joshua on his next journey.

“When Hattie was taken from the front entrance at the EquestrianClearance.com premises we were all devastated but we are very excited about finding a small pony that can be photographed with Joshua

“We are looking for a pony that is calm and relaxed and that will have a real rapport with Joshua. He loves ponies and isn’t scared of them and we would love to hear from owners who think their pony would be suitable.

“Ideally the pony needs to be no bigger than about 11.2hh, we don’t have a preference for colour but would like a pony that is cute and cuddly.”
