The RSPCA has said that it dealt with fewer complaints at this year’s Appleby Horse Fair (7 – 13 June 2012).
Each year, the week-long event involves thousands of people.
As reported by the BBC, the RSPCA has said that although it dealt with fewer incidents overall (192 this year) the number of warnings issued increased from 17 to 38.
The RSPCA said that most of its warnings were for overworking of horses and vet warnings.
