Olympia, The London International Horse Show: Tuesday 13 December preview

This Tuesday (13 December 2011), Olympia, the London International Horse Show begins its week-long programme of dressage and show jumping events.

Although there is no shopping village tomorrow, the first phase of the Reem Acra FEI World Cup Dressage Qualifier will take place from 6.30pm.

The Grand Prix Dressage at Olympia will feature 20 dressage riders from around the world, including the UK’s Laura Bechtolsheimer on Mistral Hojris, Richard Davison on Hiscox Artemis, Charlotte Du Jardin on Valegro, Carl Hester on Uthopia and Gareth Hughes on Dv Stenkjers Nadonna.

From these 20 riders, 15 will pass from the Grand Prix Dressage tomorrow to the Kur phase the following day (Wednesday 14 December 2011).

It is expected the Grand Prix Dressage will finish at around 9.30pm tomorrow.

The dressage competition will make up the entirety of the Tuesday 13 December Olympia London International Horse Show programme.
