New international trials event for FranceTuesday 11 October 2011
A brand new three day horse trials event has been organised to take place in France next month. The international Eventing Show of Le Pouget in Montpellier will take place between 17 and 20 November 2011, with two CIC divisions rated one and two star. The idea for the Le Pouget event came from Rafael Mazoyer, a French team member and international eventer. It will be held at the Three Fountains Riding Centre in Le Puget, just North West of Montpellier. There is great anticipation for the new show as it will be the centre’s first international event in 15 years. Organisers say the event will be an ideal end to the season and will be useful for preparing young or inexperienced horses on soft and educational courses. Pierre Le Goupil, designer of courses at Le Pin and Lignieres-en-Berry has been given the opportunity to work his magic once again by designing a new cross-country course at Le Pouget. Entrants can compete for a prize pot of up to 12,000 Euros. comments: related news: Eventing News 18.08.2009 Six-strong Eventing squad selected for the Junior European Championships Eventing News 20.08.2009 Team GBR Launch Fundraising Auction Eventing News 22.09.2009 British riders heads to France to defend European Eventing Championship title popular news: General Equestrian News 24.05.2012 Horse destroyed after collision with Bentley Horse Welfare News 24.05.2012 Farrier suspended for three months after causing unnecessary suffering Celebrity/Rider News 25.05.2012 Zara Phillips carries Olympic torch on a nervous Toytown in Cheltenham | ![]() ![]() Get money of products, horsemart ads plus the latest news and riding advice to your inbox! |
