Going for Gold: the British Eventing Ball and Award PresentationFriday 30 October 2009
Only nine days to go until the calendar event of the year happens, which will be again held at Newbury Racecourse (7th November).
Following a glamorous drinks reception, the evening’s entertainment will be kicked off with comedic commentary from Nick Burd who will be hosting the awards presentation to commemorate the year’s successes. After a divine three course meal, house band ‘The Copy Cats’ will be making a repeat appearance following their popularity with everyone at our Ball last year. This year William Fox-Pitt has been pipped to the post as the British rider with the highest amount of British Eventing points by Oliver Townend. This is the first time this decade that William has been beaten by another British rider in these rankings. Don’t miss your chance to attend a great party and exciting award - for tickets please call Don’t miss out on Scotland’s British Eventing Ball which will be held at the Dunblane Hydro on 21 November, from 7pm. Tickets available from either Les Smith or Francis Hay-Smith, 07702 901001. Please book and pay before 7 November. For full details of the venue please go to www.doubletreedunblane.com
