Equestrian Roots are Planted in Yorkshire !!!
Horse Parade was formed in 2006 providing local level unaffiliated Dressage / Showing events based in and around the Yorkshire Region.
Horse Parade are solely dedicated to the Grass Root / Local Level handler / Rider Combinations. We firmly beleive they are the Back Bone of Equestrian Sport & derserve regonition with chance to Shine, grow and gain confidence to reach there Dreams of maybe one day becoming the next Olympic Rider.
Towards the end of 2008 during 2009 as been an up hill struggle with the economical down fall, seeing numbers of competitors drop drastically, however determined not to let the sport go down without a fight we have struggled on regardless seeing numbers steadily increase once again.
With this in mind, it was decided to create an event with a Twist & Turn and a more Family feel of involvment hence The Launch of 'Horse Parade National Championships Plus K9 Championships 2010. Dog classes have been tryed & tested at the last three horse showing events by incorporating some amateur fun K9 classes, people seem to enjoy the fact that if there daughter is Showing her ponie for instance this gives gran or dad the chance to join in the fun of the event by showing the family pet and then comparing awards at the end of the day, it does get quite competitive between family members in banter of course.
This also adds to the fact that people who want to compete there family dog do not have to be Horsey in any way shape of form, its family fun for everyone.
The List of Riding Clubs & Showing Organisations that are now wanting to Affiliate to the Launch of Horse Parade NEC / K9 Championships is steadily Growing which is Brilliant News, with the support and backing this annual Yorkshire Event dedicated to Grass Root / Local Level Combinations can only go from strenght to strenght.
This event is self funded in order of the Launch Kick Start for 2010 with NO FEES to Join !!!
If you would like to know more or Affiliated your local events & support The Launch of Horse Parade NEC / K9 Championships withthe Glitz & Glamour of Evening Performance Championships.
