Welcome back to the first BD newsletter of 2010. As the snow finally (fingers crossed!) looks to be on its way out, preparations can begin in earnest for what we’re sure will be banner year for dressage. It’s been an exciting start to the season with Laura and Alf breaking two British records in Amsterdam last week & closing the gap on Gal and Totilas. With Regionals next month & Winter Championships less than three months away, there’s no shortage of competition & entertainment coming your way; make sure you don’t miss out on all that’s on offer!

Laura B sets two British records
Laura & Alf start off 2010 with a bang at Amsterdam
Laura Bechtolsheimer and Mistral Horjis kicked off the New Year in impressive style at the 2010 CDI-W Amsterdam where they smashed current British records in the Grand Prix and Kur – coming within just four percent of dynamic Dutch duo Edward Gal and Totilas. Taking second in the GP on a record 78.04%, Laura with Alf stepped up their game and put the pressure on Gal and Totilas who finished first on 82.17%.
