Drawing the Line auction announced
The British Horse Society’s ‘Drawing the Line’ auction is to be held on 13 October from 6pm at Cheffins Auction House of Cambridge.
The evening will start at 6pm when bidders are invited to view the sought-after lots, after which the sale will start at 7pm. So far, the BHS has received many donations from top equestrian artists, and famous individuals, with Carl Hester, Alan Titchmarsh, Lucinda Green and Kelly Marks having already donated. Sally Mitchell Fine Art are working in association with the BHS, and have so far provided top class works from John Trickett and Malcolm Coward SEA.
Auction lots will be available to view online later in the year, with a dedicated section appearing on the BHS website soon.
The ‘Drawing the Line on Indiscriminate Breeding’ campaign has been gathering momentum since its launch at Badminton Horse Trials in May 2009, and with Cheffins Auction House agreeing to host the auction, the campaign is sure to be a huge success.
If you would like to register your interest in attending the evening, please email h.dunn@bhs.org.uk with ‘Draw the Line auction’ in the subject title.
