Chaps and gaiters get bigger at Fuller Fillies

Fuller Fillies’ popular Huggy Half Chaps and Ali Gaiters are now available in XXwide width and long length, due to demand. Huggy Half Chaps are available in leather or faux suede and are great for casual riding. They have broad pleated, elasticated sections to the back, strong side zips with press stud closures, and elasticated front sections that fit around jodhpur or paddock boots. Ali Gaiters are made using full hide leather with amara suede linings for comfort.

The cavalry cut tops elongate the rider’s lower leg whilst the broad elasticated ruched sections to the rear give a close fit. The rear zips are secured with elasticated straps and press stud fastenings, for extra security. Ali Gaiters can be worn for competition, but are comfortable enough for day to day riding too. “We’re pleased to be able to offer a wider range of sizes for our customers,” says Suzanne Wild, Managing Director and Designer for Fuller Fillies.

“Our whole ethos focuses on larger lady riders looking great and feeling comfortable in and out of the saddle. When our ladies ask us if we can do something, we do our best, and we were asked for broader, longer chaps and gaiters…so we did it!”

Both the chaps and gaiters are available in sizes wide, to fit calves up to 18”, and Xwide, to fit calves up to 20”. The new XXwide will fit calves up to 23” wide. The new long leg length will fit up to 19” calf length, and joins the current short length, which fits up to 15”, and standard, which fits up to 17”. All widths are available in all height options.
