A horse rider and her Welsh Cob Gem have raised £7,500 for five charities after riding 560 miles in a month.
Jill Perry from Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, rode from Sandringham House in Norfolk to the Dinefwr Castle in South Wales and raised funds for World Horse Welfare plus four other charities.
Jill’s ride celebrated the Diamond Jubilee and took in routes that have been ridden by royalty over many years. Jill and Gem even went via Buckingham Palace.
Jill set off from Norfolk on Sunday 22 April and completed her epic journey on Monday 21 May.
To find out how Jill got on and more about the charity itself, head over to the World Horse Welfare website.
