Home is much more important than price!Timber is stunning and a lovely kind horse. He is schooled up to Elementary level dressage and has beautiful paces, but he much prefers his hacking.
IDXTB 16.2hh 19y/o but don't let his age put you of as he has very low mileage as he has just been a leisure horse over the years, ridden a few times a week. He does not need riding everyday. He is happy to jump although he hasn’t done this lately.
I have never seen him lame, sick or sorry and he certainly does not look his age!
Even though Timber has taught my husband to ride from scratch he isn’t suitable for a complete novice. He would be ok for a confident novice that had experienced horse owners/riders around them. He is usually quite laid back in the school but he is a bit of a wimp and can be a bit spooky but never does anything major and he is quite forward going on hacks.
Timber is easy to shoe, box, good in traffic etc and all up to date with wormer, Injections, shoeing and the dentist.
*Timber has got some sarcoids on his belly/sheath and chest area that don’t affect him so we are currently treating them naturally with turmeric and we just keep them covered with a fly bug rug in summer - not near any tack areas and this is reflected in his price*
Timber is only sadly for sale as my husband has lost interest and I struggle to give him the time he deserves as I have 2 other horses and 2 jobs!
Finding the right home for this much loved horse is our top priority. He would suit an older experienced rider looking for a handsome hack and all rounder or a novice wanting to learn the ropes whilst having the help and support of someone who know's what they are doing. He would never take advantage of his rider.
Tack and some rugs included.
