Pros: Absolutely fantastic hacking out on roads; not phased by rattling trailers, huge tractors, fast cars etc. Not bothered by horse flies when ridden either.
Hacks out really well alone, also fine at front of group.
Stands around without fidgeting when rider is chatting!
Hasn't had much schooling for dressage and jumping,
but has nice straight movement, lovely canter, and has build for jumping, so with proper schooling should excel at these.
He's good with farrier, vet, clip and stands to be fussed and groomed.
Cons: Quirky behaviour; he loves going out but seems to lack confidence in himself and rider so will try his rider out.
He will often nap at beginning of ride which takes form of small bucks and rears. He bunches himself up beforehand
