Trio is a super fun pony. But he is not a first pony. He will not put a foot wrong for a bigger older child but to much for a small child, he would thrive for a adrenaline junkie teen.
Heartbreakingly he is to much for my novice daughter who is lost on him and finds him very strong, even though he is 12.3hh he looks and feels about 2 hands bigger!!! Little pony with a lot of power.
Trio is a black Welsh X gelding, 11 years of age.
We have taken Trio to Equifest where my daughter had the best week ever with him, pony clubs camps ect and we attend nearly every pony club rally. He is to strong for my daughter on a xc course and can throw a buck in when excited in open spaces but utterly fine during indoor rallies that even my 8 yr old son can handle him when in an enclosed space.
Doesn't bat an eyelid in traffic he is fab to hack but can be strong if cantering behind. Played polo, horse ball, xc, sj, dressage, has been to the british racing school pony racing academy and is not fazed by any of this apart from being a little excitable and hot on the odd occasion.
Easy in every other way and is a very affectionate loving pony.
Worming program up to date, great feet will be your farriers fav client! fully vaccinated, teeth last done in June.
Again with a capable rider this pony will be the best thing ever to them!
