family day trippers

Postby ilovejayjay on Sat Jan 05, 2008 9:15 pm

I was a helping on a trek with 20 people from my friends treking centre the other day (the person that was supposed to be going got a stomach bug so they asked me to help instead) and we had stopped for lunch at a picnic site and there was a family and a group of walkers on the picnic tables

so we just waited a little away from them and the walkers moved off so we sent some of the people in the group to the table and told the rest of the group to sit on some of the rocks around the area and let the horses graze.

We got right through the whole group, the helpers and there was just me and my friend left to eat(by this time our stomachs sounded like earthquakes) and we had just sat down to our rather squashed, warm sandwiches when we heard a load of screaming so we leaped up and ran to see what the hell was going on.

When we saw what was happening our mouths just dropped because the mother and kid from the "family" (The kid still had the tag from the outdoor shop on it's coat...:w00t:) had gone to stroke the horses, and one of the horses (big roan can't remember his name) had nosed at the womans handbag because she had mints and she was hitting him with it and his rider was screaming at her to stop.

Her husband had to drag her away in the end. her parting shot was

"That horse should be dog meat"

We were still shocked how she had got a Bradley handbag up there in the first place.:w00t:

anyone else had a run in with these people.?

                                                        NO foot no horse!!!!

.

Its times like that you wish you had a horse which kicked )  Am thinking of teaching my Chigs the command, to leave nice 9" hoofprints in the doors of some cars :hehe:

Some people are such asses.  If she hit my Chigs with her handbad she would need a surgeon to remove it from where I would shove it. Stupid witch.
