Dez is going on loan.

Well, This Saturday Denzil is going over to my friends yard on loan :ermm:, as my leg is bad and i need to rest it, She's ridden him a few times loves him, She knows i'm bad on my leg so she's offered to take him on loan, Going to be taking him on a sponsored ride, and she's going to brake him into harness for me {as she does carrage driving to} I rearlly didn't want to, but GP said plenty of resting, I know he will love it over at hers he won't want to come back, He won't be far away and she's giving me a key to see him when ever i like, and i can have him back when ever i'm better, i'm a bit worried as i know she loves clipping hair off, so i might go up one day and find a bald Denzil :w00t: i love a hairy beast! {horses that is}:)

Well, GP said it could be 2-6 months, going to Physio next week, yesterday was a really bad day couldn't even sit up in bed, i'm an active person always on the move so can't be doing sitting about all day so its getting me down a little, sorry guys feeling sorry for my self, it could have been alot worse i know! Well, when she came over yesterday she was looking at him saying "I'll soon have him less hairy, you know what i'm like with a pair of clippers" So i did tell her then, She didn't say anything so i might have it written in my contract, Yes at least he will still be worked and not on a long holiday, It will be weaird not having to look after him.

At least i've got this forum to keep me amused. :)

Oh Haz, sorry to hear that it's going to take so long for you to recover, at least you know Dez will be well looked after by your friend and it will mean that you can concentrate on getting yourself better quicker.

 

You will have to make it clear to your friend that she must not clip him, but even if she clips him abit, it will grow back.

Sounds like a lovely solution until you are well again, im sure she will take good care of himand at least you can visit whenyou like, just make sure you instill in her no clipping !!! and im sure all will be well, hope your fighting it again soon

Oh poor you, Haz - hope it only takes you the 2 months to get better. That's so great, though, that your friend can look after Dez for you. Must be a load off your mind that he's well cared for and you can concentrate on getting better. Take it slow though, or could put yourself back. Very best wishes.

PS. Hide her clippers when she's not looking!

Thanks:), The reason i don't want her to go mad with the clippers is i really wanted to show him this season if better, and he would look a bit odd in the native classes as they like them to be oh natural, But yes if it wasn't for her i don't know what i'd have done maybe advertised for someone to loan him, But was worried about who i'd get as you hear so many horror stories, I'm sure he will be fine, Its just me worrying about my big baby :D Hey Em, the thought had crossed my mind she's got 2 sets just incase 1 packs up on her, I could maybe hide her blades :Whistling:
