looking for Kayt

It is a distressing situation for anyone when their beloved horse/pony or pet has been stolen or gone missing
looking for Kayt

Postby horse1987 on Fri May 18, 2012 12:13 pm

Kayt was my old horse who I rehomed as a broodmare. She was under contract that I would have first refusal if they ever wanted to rehome her. However this did not happen. Despite many emails with no response I have only just found out she is no longer there.

She was rehomed as a single broodmare in the essex area. She came from suffolk in foal and had a chestnut colt. She will be roughly 19/20 now. She is a bright bay in the summer. She doesn't do well in the winter. She has a distinctive scar above her front fetlock. She is very fiesty and was apparently very aggresive to the other mares. She was not like this when i had her though so may not still be like it.

She is a thoroughbred x arab, roughly 15.3hh. I do not know when she was rehomed from suffolk but it must have been over a year ago.

I just want to know she is ok and if not I will bring her home to me somehow. I love this horse so much and any info greatly appreciated

I have contacted them but she is still registered under our name so neither of new owners changed details :(

However I do think the colt she had was sired by Drumhowan Cavalier. So if anyone knows her colt this could be a useful lead

It was his owners who gave him away without letting me know. I have put posters up in Ingaestone which is a big saddlery down essex, in the hope who ever has her offspring will see it!!

You think she had a foal by Cavalier.

Ask the stud if she definitely went to them, if she definitely was mated with Cavalier and if she definitely had a foal by him and what his name was
