Horseboxes in general

Postby youngguy*15*kent on Sat Mar 03, 2007 3:18 pm

we've just brought a horsebox and am now beginning to use it regularly and for longer distances. we've brought the essential 'accessories' for the box like broom, poo picker, lunge whip ect. Has anyone got any other tips of what to carry with us when traveling. Im after the kind of suggestions that you might have were you needed it when you were traveling once but of course you didn't have it with you!

Also has anyone got any website/phone numbers or anything of places were you can buy horsebox bits. I've found a few website but i didn't know wether any of you have got the addresses of ones i may not have found!

Also also... has anyone got the contact details for any companies who are good at 'doing up' horseboxes preferably in the Kent area, but if you know of any can you still post them because then we can always look at ordering parts or anything from them.

Thankyou any advise will help!

foxlea horsebox bits are good for bits and pieces for doing up horseboxes, got some stuff from there in the past when doing up horseboxes you may already have there website but its www.foxlea.co.uk i think. your local horsemart or similar may have details of companies who are good at doing up horseboxes too.

Thanks Hannah! That site has loads of really good stuff on it. I've  just brought of the site:

 Flush-fitting groom's door lock

Sealer

Sponge strip

Partition padding

Thanks for your help, will make my horsebox look new(er) again and didn't cost loads to do!
