TRACING HORSE - AVALON/MAGIC - MINER'S MAGIC TBX MARE 14.1HH

IM HOPING SOMEONE CAN HELP ME TRACE A PONY I HAD ON FULL LOAN OVER A YEAR AGO - HER NAME WAS AVALON BUT A DEALER RENAMED HER MAGIC - HER FULL NAME IS MINER'S MAGIC, SHE WOULD NOW BE BETWEEN 9-11 YEARS OLD I THINK, AND SHE IS DARK BAY WITH A SMALL WHITE STRIPE. SHE IS ABOUT 14.1HH AND A THOROUGHBRED CROSS - SIRE WAS MINER'S LAMP. SHE WAS SENT TO A DEALER BY HER OWNER ONCE I HAD RETURNED HER AT THE END OF THE LOAN CONTRACT, AND THE DEALER IN WARWICKSHIRE THEN SOLD HER ON TO A FAMILY THERE. UNFORTUNATELY AVALON WAS BADLY MISTREATED WHEN SHE WAS YOUNG WHICH HAS LED TO A NUMBER OF BEHAVIOURAL PROBLEMS INCLUDING REARING TO THE POINT OF GOING OVER WHEN EXCITED WHILST RIDDEN. SHE HAD NEVER DONE THIS WITH ME AND SHE WAS GOING REALLY WELL WHEN I RETURNED HER, OBVIOUSLY SOMETHING HAD UPSET HER AGAIN TO START OFF THIS STRANGE BEHAVIOUR. THE NEW OWNERS HAVE SINCE SOLD HER AND WILL NOT TELL ME WHERE SHE IS, I JUST WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO HER AS SHE WAS VERY GENUINE AND A REAL SWEETIE WHEN I HAD HER ON LOAN, AND I GREW VERY ATTACHED. ANY NEWS, GOOD OR BAD, WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. ANY INFO HOWEVER SMALL WOULD BE A GREAT START. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP, SAM

so sorry your not having any luck tracing her. Have you posted her on all the tracing websites maybe putting ad in your horse magazine and horse etc.

I have tried searching for her on NED but she is not appearing - even though her passport was issued about 2-3 years ago. I am now worried she may have been pts - her last owner still is not replying to my emails :(

does anyone know of any other way i can trace a horse apart from ned and posting adverts? it seems so silly that i cannot find her on ned even with her passport :(

I'm refreshing this topic as I still have not found this pony.
I believe she was sold in the Warwickshire area by a lady named Brenda Van Damme about a year ago - I am desperate to know what has happened to this pony, who they named Magic. she was by Miner's Lamp, and very temperamental - she used to rear and this is why they were selling her on.
Please please please, anyone with any info, good or bad, please get in touch!

Well, it seems that the passport that Magic had has not been updated with new owner details since i had her - i can only assume she has either been put down or has had her name changed and sold through dealers etc, due to her issues. such a shame, there was a loving, genuine pony underneath...
If anyone has any info on where this pony could have been, please let me know
